AKIPRESS.COM - The Armed Forces of Qatar have concluded the military exercises entitled "Decisive Decision 11" with their Mongolian counterparts in Ulaanbaatar, The Peninsula reported.

The Qatari Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah, who is on a visit to Mongolia, attended the closing ceremony along with Mongolian Defence Minister Tserendash Tsolmon, Chief of Staff Tserendejid Byambajav, Qatari Non-Resident Ambassador Sultan bin Salmeen al-Mansouri, Mongolian commanders and Qatar Armed Forces officers.

The exercises were part of a training course under the supervision of specialist trainers. Al-Attiyah praised the efficiency of joint forces that participated in the exercises.

The Qatari Minister also stressed the importance of such drills abroad which raise the level of Qatar Armed Forces and improve combat preparedness in different circumstances and fields, noting that participation of the Mongolian armed forces was the prove of close relations between both countries.
