AKIPRESS.COM - The Council of Heads of the Governments of the CIS members took place in the village of Burabay in Akmola region on May 29, the press service of the prime minister of Kazakhstan said.
The meeting has gathered together prime ministers of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov, Armenia - Hovik Abrahamyan, Belarus - Andrei Kobyakov, Kyrgyzstan - Temir Sariyev, Moldova - Cyril Gaburici, Russia - Dmitry Medvedev, Tajikistan - Kohir Rasulzoda, as well as vice prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Kazakhstan.
The agenda included a wide range of issues of multilateral cooperation of the CIS countries in the economic, innovation, technical and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Following the meeting, they adopted a plan of joint actions of the CIS countries to address pressing issues in the financial and economic sphere.
In addition, they approved the strategy of transport security on the territories of the CIS states, the concept of inter-regional and cross-border cooperation of the CIS countries up to 2020, as well as the concept of formation and development of inter-state system of training, retraining and professional training in the field of intellectual property.
More than 15 documents were approved and signed.
