Kazakhstan coach Serik Kalimbayev has expressed relief after the first win of team Kazakhstan.
"Today we played with good technique and tactics. We tried not to leave any loopholes but we did a few mistakes and need to work on our penalty corners. We will try to keep the momentum going and keep scoring in the coming matches," he said.
Kazakhstan will next play Russia while Singapore will face Malaysia on Tuesday.
