AKIPRESS.COM - Vice Prime Minister Abdyrakhman Mamataliyev visited penal colony No.31 in the village of Moldovanovka in Chui region on January 26.

He checked the conditions in the colony and visited the rehabilitation and social adaptation center working within the colony.

Director of center lieutenant-colonel Irina Lapuzina said the center, besides helping the drug and alcohol addicted convicts to rehabilitate, also offers the inmates vocational training courses.

She said 84 certificates have already been issued in the center, 50 of them are in programming sphere, 34 – timber.
