AKIPRESS.COM - Since year start, every government agency of Turkmenistan has received samples of portrait of the Turkmen President for hanging in offices and other buildings.
The portraits of the president are renewed every year, reports the human rights edition The Chronicles of Turkmenistan.
A special government commission works on the matter. Portraits are purchased either at the expense of companies or employees in state-funded organizations.
In January 2015, teachers purchased new portraits for classrooms for 33 manats ($9.40), said the edition.
