AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will arrive on January 9  in Berlin for talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel, government spokesman of Germany Shtefen Zaybert in Berlin told the Deutsche Welle.

The meeting will be devoted to solving the Ukrainian conflict and preparing for possible negotiations “Normandy format” in mid-January in Astana.

Whether there will be scheduled talks in Astana on January 15, Zayber has not reported.

“I still can not say whether there will be a similar meeting and where it can go. It is important that it had achieved concrete results," he said.
