Turkish art presentation and folk music concert to be held in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Ebru Turkish art of marbling The Maldybayev Kyrgyz State Conservatory will hold on December 23 a concert-presentation of the folk music of the Turkish people, organizers told AKIpress.

The concert aims to tell the locals about the ethnic and cultural diversity in Kyrgyzstan, as well as to promote the inter-ethnic dialogue among the peoples in the country.

The event will also make a presentation about the patterns of the Ebru, the Turkish art of marbling, inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The event is organized by the “Initiative of Roza Otunbayeva” international foundation together with the Turkish Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

The admission is free of charge.
