AKIPRESS.COM - The moment a giant monster truck crashed into a crowd at a Netherlands show and killed three people Sunday was captured on video by dozens of bystanders.

The accident was caught from several angles and shows the truck revving up for a big stunt over five cars before careening into a surprised crowd protected only by a small metal fence.

The crash killed a child and two adults, a woman and man. There were more than 20 injuries stemming from the accident at the show in Haaksbergen, Hans Gerritsen, near the German border, reports NYDaily.

The 1,500 horsepower truck seriously injured five of the victims, who required helicopter transport to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the truck is being questioned by police, de Telegraaf reported.

The show, which was set up in the Haaksbergen town center, is an annual event which requires a safety permit.
