Uzbekistan's Statistics Committee to study efficiency of electricity consumption

Bishkek (AKIpress) - The State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan  plans to carry out selective poll among the citizens, who live in individual houses and tenement houses from 20 to 30 August.

The committee said that the survey is conducted within implementation of measures on further diversification of the structure of energy resources and expanding alternative sources of the energy.

The event is aimed at collecting additional information on developing alternative sources of energy and increasing efficiency of energy consumption.

The survey will be conducted in all regions of Uzbekistan, including cities, districts, regions, Karakalpakstan and the city of Tashkent. Overall, 901 houses will be surveyed, including 318 houses in urban areas and 583 – in rural ones.

The data on use of electricity with use of diesel generators, solar battaries, solar collectors, bio gas facilities, coal briquettes, etc. will be collected as well.
