Volume of public procurement at electronic trades reaches 195.8 bln sum in H1 2014

AKIPRESS.COM - About 117,894 deals for 195.84 billion sum ($85.3 million) were registered at electronic auction trades on public procurement of Uzbekistan in the first half of 2014, the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan said.

Number of deals with small businesses made up 113,743. The volume of these deals amounted to 189.93 billion sum.

Share of small businesses in supply of works and services for public procurement via electronic auction trades made 96.5% from total number of deals and 97% of total sum of the deals.

The volume of saved resources was 46.861 billion sum, or 19.3% towards June's 9.877 billion sum, or 18.1%.

As of 1 July 2014, number of accredited suppliers of works and services on public procurement reached 15,355, including 13,885 of small businesses (90.4%).

The average size of a deal made 1.661 million sum.

Some 30.7% of products purchased by the budget organizations via electronic auction trades fell to share of food products, 25.7% – goods and materials, 15.7% – computer equipment, 6.9% – repair of vehicles and 13.5% – other goods, services and works.
