Uzbekistan improves its position in Global Innovation Index

Bishkek (AKIpress) - Global Innovation Index Uzbekistan climbed five places up in new Global Innovation Index, which was prepared by international business school INSEAD (France).

Uzbekistan thus holds the 128th position. Last year, Uzbekistan was the 133rd.

Switzerland is on the first place. Great Britain holds the second place, whilst Sweden is the third. The United States is on the sixth place.

The Global Innovation Index is created by INSEAD, WIPO and Cornell University. It ranks 143 countries across 81 indicators. These countries produce 98.3% of global GDP and about 92.9% of population of the world live in these states.
