Bishkek (AKIpress) - Bilateral relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan will enter a new phase of development, Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu commented on his upcoming official visit to Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan is very important for Turkey, as both countries are bound by common culture and customs, he said.
This visit is expected to become the beginning of new and strong relationship between the two countries, Trend cited Turkey's Skytürk 360.
Davutoğlu will arrive in Tashkent on July 10. A number of bilateral meetings and negotiations are planned.
