Hefei opens first cargo train to New Silk Road

Bishkek (AKIpress) - The first cargo train along the new Eurasian Continental Bridge set off from Hefei, central China's Anhui Province, on June 26, reports ChinaNews.com.

It will cross the Alashankou and arrive in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and other Central Asian countries in a week, and arrive in Europe in half a month.

It signifies that Hefei has the direct cargo train to Central Asia and Europe, and is integrated with the Silk Road economic belt.
