AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has won the first place for its exposition and musical program at the 12th Sharjah Heritage Days 2014.
Kyrgyzstan participated in the festival for the first time. The country had the biggest delegation from Central Asia, Consul General Kubanychbek Omuraliyev said.
The musical performance of Kyrgyz artists was welcomed with a great tornado of applause. The romantic dance of Kyrgyz girls in national costumes and compelling men’s dance have become adornment of the Festival.
The delegation of Kyrgyzstan also showcased Kyrgyz traditional house yurt, national clothing collections, souvenirs, national dishes.
More than 30 countries from South West and East Asia, Central Asia participated in the event.
Uzbekistan was another Central Asian country that offered musical performance during the event.
