Kazakhstan, Finland to develop cooperation in customs sphere

Bishkek (AKIpress) - finland-flag Chairman of the Customs Control Committee of the Finance Ministry of Kazakhstan Gosman Amrin met with Advisor to the Director General of the Finnish Customs Service Antti Nissinen, the press service of the Committee reports.

The side discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation. Mr Amrin shared his opinion about the working visits of the Kazakh delegations in Finland in March and November 2013. He expressed interest in learning the Finnish customs practices in the sphere of declaration, join control and employee incentive scheme.

The sides confirmed the necessity of establishment of relations in the customs sphere by means of singing the bilateral agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance.

At the end of the meeting, Gosman Amrin invited the representatives of the Finnish customs service to attend the WCO Europe region meeting focused on risk management which is to be held on May 22-23 in Astana within the Astana Economic Forum.
