The Netherlands names one of its new squares as Astana

Bishkek (AKIpress) - astanaplein President Nursultan Nazarbayev during his working visit to the Netherlands was presented a new tulip variety named after President Nazarbayev, a new stamp depicting the President of Kazakhstan, the press service of Akorda reported Monday.

In addition, the Municipality of Rotterdam has announced the initiative to open a new square in the Netherlands titled Astana.

President Nazarbayev expressed interest in cooperation with Dutch companies and expanding areas of cooperation. Nazarbayev also noted the high level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and a number of large companies in France, Germany, Spain.
