Central Asian Spring Festival to take place in London

Bishkek (AKIpress) - The Central Asian Spring Festival 2014 will be held on March 23 in London.

“Representatives of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan (Russian Federation) came together this year to mark the 5th anniversary of Festival. This is the celebration of love to the nature, welcoming of the spring, full tables of food and harmony between nature and human beings,” organizers say.

Visitors will explore hospitality of each country as well as delicious Central Asian and Caucasian cuisine, exhibition of traditions and culture, folklore dances, songs, music and even more surprises, such as a real size Yurt and traditional games.

Organizers include the British-Uzbek Society, UCL Kazakh Society, Kazakhstan Student Society in the UK, UCL Azerbaijan Society, Kyrgyz Club UK, British-Tajik Society, and UK Tatar Association.
