Parliament of Kazakhstan approves bill on increase of pensions and social payments

Bishkek (AKIpress) - pension The plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan has approved the bill on amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of social security in two readings, the Mazhilis press service reported Wednesday.

The Committee for socio-cultural development said that, starting from April 1 of this year, the volume of social benefits will be increased by 12%, the state social allowances - by 25 %, and the payments for families adopting a child will be 75 MCI.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Tamara Duisenova said that the state budget allocated 116.9 billion tenge for these increases.
