1,231 people injured in two months of protests in Kyiv - City Administration

AKIPRESS.COM - Ukraine-Protest_Mitc-1024x682 In the period of protests from November 30, 2013 to January 30, 2014, 1,231 people have applied to doctors, of which 681 people were hospitalized in Kiev, the health department of Kyiv city administration reported on January 30.

Kiev doctors say that in this period, Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No.17 has provided aid to 151 people, 36 were hospitalized. On January 25, one of the patients died. The hospital has not registered other deaths among the participants of mass actions.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has reported on January 30 that about 234 people were detained, 140 of them arrested at protest actions in the country. So far, four people died in protest actions, according to the Prosecutor General's Office.
